Peoplemap Communication System

Peoplemap Communication SystemMission advancement is the goal for most of us in our ministries. Interpersonal relationships, influenced by our communication skills, are the means by which most of our work is accomplished. Ministers, church staffs, lay leadership teams, and entire congregations who want to grow more effective in mission advancement can do so by increasing their communication skills. The Peoplemap Communication System® is designed to strengthen communication skills and interpersonal relationships, leading to greater mission advancement.

The Peoplemap Communication System is based on a brief personality inventory. Participants take the inventory as the training begins identifying their personality type as Leader, People, Free Spirit, or Task Types. During the training they gain a new awareness of their individual strengths, communication tendencies, relational style, problem-solving approach, and approach to getting work done. In short, The Peoplemap helps people learn how to build effective interpersonal relationships, leading to a more effective personal and work life. These insights contribute to more effective ministry and congregational life.

Groups and formats for Peoplemap Training tend to be:

  • Church Staffs
  • Lay Leadership Teams
  • Denominations who want to provide quality training for their constituents
  • Entire Congregations
  • Groups of Church Staffs
  • Workshop Settings

The Peoplemap really is a system of training and development with multiple components to further the learning. When we provide Peoplemap training, we bring an inventory for each participant, along with handouts and support materials for continued learning. Peoplemap Trainings provided by Pinnacle are described below.

Basic Peoplemap Communication System Training

This is the best place to begin your Peoplemap learning. This workshop or training provides participants the opportunity to identify their personality types, along with their Strengths and Achilles heels. Then we use this learning to strengthen leadership effectiveness, communication, teamworking, and conflict prevention/management. We provide this training in two-hour, half-day, full-day, and retreat formats.

Peoplemap Leadership Style Training

What are your leadership tendencies? What’s your approach when it comes to leading the church to move ahead? Everyone has a prominent leadership style and approach, whether we know it or not. This training includes an inventory to assess your leadership style, along with learning about how to use your style effectively. After taking the inventory and identifying their leadership style, participants learn how to maximize their leadership strengths, minimize or overcome their Achilles heels, and identify how to manage others well in their ministry setting. We provide this training in half-day, full-day, and retreat formats.

Peoplemap Leadership Teambuilding Course

How effectively can you use the Hard and Soft People Skills in your congregational leadership? Each of us naturally begins with one or the other. In order to lead effectively over time, we need to know and use our strengths, and address our Achilles heels. This Course focuses on the eight Hard and Soft People Skills of Leadership, training participants in a safe and spiritually-focused context. We provide this training in a five-session course or intensive workshop setting.
